Financial support for couples in Bavaria trying for a child
Since 1 November 2020 both married and unmarried couples with German statutory or private health insurance have been eligible for financial support for IVF and ICSI treatment in Bavaria. Treatment for same-sex couples or those using donor sperm however is unfortunately not eligible for financial assistance. It is important to note that any application for financial assistance must be submitted and approved before the start of treatment.
